Problema[modifica]

Mentre stavo leggendo i frammenti di Saffo con la visualizzazione per la lettura cioè questa pagina in cui anche se è edizioni Wikisource penso ci sia un problema. Inoltre nella pagina prima cioè questa e in quelle prima si accavallano cioè si replicano in ogni pagina le frasi della pagina prima. Guarda inoltre che nell'indice non compaiono i titoli delle poesie o frammenti che nel testo originale ci stanno. Non lo posso fare io e ciedo venia sia perchè alcune cose penso di non saperle, sia perché sono già occupato su Quote a uniformare la numerazione dei frammenti nella voce Saffo nelle citazione e credimi non è proprio semplicissimo. Apprezzo profondamente le tue parole.Il punto menzione circa la traduzione di articoli e la necessità di riferire alla sorella wiki, richiesta di vostra cooperazione ignorare i passaggi richiesti da questa regola.Vorrei anche chiedere che cosa fare prima di articoli contenenti immagini, se è opportuno eseguire la sua trascrizione senza inserendole. (Paura che la complessità tecnica del processo di caricamento immagini su Commons, supera la mia conoscenza limitata e può generare effetti indesiderati).

Problema Scientia[modifica]

Toppa messa. Esiste una funzione emergenza() (nomina numina...) richiamabile con un bottone: 

newButton("emergenza","emergenza");

che recupera i dati delle pagine erroneamente svuotate in corso di caricamento. Vuoi spargere la voce? Primo congresso e primo sangue[modifica]

Ciao, ti ringrazio, in effetti risulta piuttosto difficile ambientarsi in questo progetto, affascinante e per certi aspetti superiore a pedia. Un paio di domande ancora:

  • Ho difficoltà a creare la Categoria:Criminologia poichè mi escono cose mostruose
Lascia stare, ci proviamo noi.
  • Ho notato che su google ci sono alcune edizioni con antemprima, ciò non pregiudica la presenza contemporanea su wsource?

  • Le pagine bianche sono da scannerizzare anch'esse? In b/n o a colori?
Fa lo stesso, non ti preoccupare.
  • Su wsource c'è la possibilità di inserire sia la versione con immagini sia quella con solo testo, ma ciò significa che le tabelle devo per forza inserirle nella versione testo oppure posso tranquillamente lasciarle come immagini?
sarebbero meglio come testo, perche sarebbero leggibili. Ma ognuno poi non è obbligato a fare nulla.
  • Come posso rendere lo sfondo delle pagine a colori, ad es. un giallo paglierino o un verde acqua molto sfumato, giusto per non affaticare troppo la vista?

Il quale ficcanasa nei messaggi altrui e quindi capta la richiesta. :-)
Io farei così: estrarrei dal pdf Google le immagini delle singole pagine in formato tiff (abbiamo un tool in python per farlo); con un batch editor di immagini aggiungerei il colore di sfondo (e chiederei lumi a Luigi61; forse il tool python può imparare a fare anche quello); poi dalle immagini tiff otterrei un djvu a colori (abbiamo un altro tool per farlo: djvuToy).
Unico problema: le immagini djvu con colore di fondo sono nettamente più pesantucce di quelle B/N.

Ho sbagliato a cliccare e ho creato una pagina Delle strade ferrate italiane e del miglior ordinamento di esse/Capitolo I. che invece doveva essere un'altra che avevo aperto su altra scheda Delle strade ferrate italiane e del miglior ordinamento di esse/Discorso Secondo/Capitolo I.. È stato creato un redirect che probabilmente non serve(valuti un admin..:-)ma soprattutto c'è una transclusione un po' strana (ma questo me l'aspettavo). Il Capitolo Primo comincia a metà pagina. E quindi nella NS0 si legge anche quello che non c'entra. Va bene così Oppure puoi sistemare questo pasticcino? Io proprio non ho idea. Provo a spiegarmi meglio:
Fino al 3 gennaio 2009 il testo non aveva alcun SAL.
Il 3 gennaio 2009, inserito il numero di verso, attribuisci al testo SAL 100%, ma o hai riletto il testo dalla fonte cartacea, dato che fonti online non sono indicate, e a quel punto metti SAL Edizioni Wikisource, o non hai riletto il testo e hai posto il SAL 100% per motivi a me non chiari. Caro Aubrey, avevo in mente qualcosa riguardo al Portale:Comunità (che vedi in preparazione nella mia Sandbox) e volevo parlartene.

  • Puoi vedere dal link la prima sezione dedicata WikiLoveMonuments, Wikimania e collaborazioni (c'è altro?); al momento li ho inseriti in maniera piuttosto lineare, ma se avessi idee in proposito sarei ben lieto di applicarle;
  • La proposta fatta da te al bar (Chiedi al bibliotecario) e quella di IPork qui potrebbero essere ben inserite nell'intro del portale (parte ancora da sistemare).

  • Collaborazioni era momentaneo: provo a sistemare come dici, vediamo cosa viene fuori; se preferissi qualche cosa di più (non so, banner nell'intro del portale), si può provare;
  • Per il wikibibliotecario: certo, in pagina principale sarebbe ottimo; qui possiamo fare delle prove, tanto ancora è un portale in lavorazione;
  • Colore: sicuro no, anzi forse il mio schermo (in cui ho di molto diminuito la luminosità) non rende a me l'idea.

Il cambiamento, in effetti, era dovuto solo avevo dei dubbi sul suo equilibrio grafico: ho sistemato spostando una sezione a destra.
Lo small al momento l'ho rimesso perché distingue i portali dai progetti della sezione sottostante, ma il tutto è ancora da verificare.

Se ti dicessi che non ci ho pensato mentirei, ma mi serve più esperienza per evitare di far danni. Non sarebbe una brutta idea; non ti dico tutto quello che mi passa per la testa, mi limito a questa fantasticheria: avere un pagina in edit con la struttura e gli strumenti di un Word (scegli pure tra OpenOffice-LibreOffice o il classico Microsoft); in realtà abbiamo già un Wikieditor, ma mi sembra debba essere scaricato e soprattutto non è opzionale tra gli accessori, il che non lo rende appettibile ai più. Inoltre la possibilità di conservare, una volta salvata la pagina, la formattazione (e non i template usati per ottenerla) così da non ritrovarci, col primo aggiornamento, con una formattazione dissimile da quella voluta e ottenuta tempo prima: lo dico perché mi è capitato di dover risistemare Pensieri e discorsi e chissà quante altre volte succede e non lo sappiamo se non quando ricontrolliamo i testi.--Barbaforcuta (disc.) 16:31, 19 nov 2012 (CET)[rispondi]

Così adesso sappiamo come mettere iconcine-bottoni nel titolo riga, a destra, cosa che non è niente male. Come l'abbiano fatto su en.source, non sono riuscito a capire. :-(

    • We have a time scheduled when Wikidata will be read-only for a database migration. The window for that is Feb 20 19:00 to Feb 21 2:00 UTC.
    • New features and bugfixes on Wikidata are planned to be deployed on Monday (Feb 18). This should among other things include:
      • Showing useful diffs for edits of claims (they’re currently empty)
      • Automatic comments for editing of claims (there are currently none)
      • Ability to add items to claims by their ID
      • Better handling of deleted properties
      • More results in the entity selector (that’s the thing that lets you select properties, items and so on) so you can add everything and not just the first few matches that are shown
    • We’re still working on the issue that sometimes editing of certain parts of items or properties isn’t possible. If you’re running into it try to reload the page and/or change the URL to the www. version or the non-www. version respectively.
    • Deployment on all other Wikipedias is currently planned for March 6 (a note to the Village Pumps of all affected projects will follow soon)

    • Rolled out new code on wikidata.org. The new stuff you probably care about is:
      • Improved references. They can now have multiple lines. This should make references much more useful. You can now have one reference with for example values for each of the properties "book", "author", "page" to describe one source.
      • Fixed the prev/next links in diff view (bugzilla:45821)
      • d:Special:EntitiesWithoutLabel now lets you filter by language and entity type
    • Widget to add language links on the Wikipedias directly: added setting to enable/disable it per wiki and made it available for logged-in users only
    • Widget to add language links on the Wikipedias directly: improved layout / size
    • Made it so that the “edit links” link on Wikipedia is also shown when the corresponding item only has a link to this one language and no other languages

    • When you edit a statement there is a little wheel in front of the text field. This lets you choose between “custom value”, “unknown value” and “no value”. “No value” means that we know that the given property has no value, e.g. Elizabeth I of England had no spouse. “Unknown value” means that the property has a value, but it is unknown which one -- e.g. Pope Linus most certainly had a year of birth, but it is unknown to us.

    • In addition to the above we have rolled out a new search box that suggests items. This should also make finding things on Wikidata a lot easier for you.
    • We’re making some progress with Internet Explorer 8 support but there are a lot of issues with it (some outside our control). It’s unclear at the moment how much we can improve it still without spending an unjustified amount of time on it. You can follow the progress at bugzilla:44228
    • Edits are now auto-confirmed for users with more than 50 edits and account age 4 days: bugzilla:46461
    • Do you need old-style interwiki links for a sister project for example? This is for you
    • The Wikimedia Foundation applied as a mentoring organisation for Google Summer of Code again. We have proposed some Wikidata projects for students to take up if the Foundation is accepted again. At least 2 other organisations that applied also propose Wikidata ideas. This should ideally be in the range of a few minutes. Right now it is higher because of some abnormally high bot activity but decreasing. Should be down to a few minutes soon.

Ti so ottimo conoscitore delle biblioteche di Parma, ma forse non ti sei mai occupato della Biblioteca di agricoltura Antonio Bizzozero. I testi sono di proprietà regionale, ma è stata affidata al comune di Parma che la gestisce nel'ambito della Biblioteca civica. Ho iniziato un discorso tutto sperimentale. La biblioteca è molto di nicchia (agricoltura e tematiche connesse), non ha le forze per digitalizzare i suoi testi (molti a cavallo tra l'ottocento e il novecento) come ha fatto la biblioteca La Vigna di Vicenza, ma si è mostrata interessata a tentare di radunare gli ebook disponibili di agronomia, letteratura georgica ecc. Per ora te la do solo come notizia. Se matura qualche cosa di serio chiederò il tuo aiuto, magari anche per verificare se è possibile realizzare qualche sinergia con le altre realtà parmensi.     • Worked on reducing the dispatch lag (the time it takes for changes on Wikidata to be sent to the Wikipedias for display in watchlist, recent changes and to purge affected pages)

It will hopefully happen very soon after that though.
    • Next code update on wikidata.org is planned for Wednesday. This should include qualifiers and bugfixes.
    • There will probably be a short outage/read-only for wikidata.org on Tuesday (database is being switched to MariaDB)

Per le altre opere, ho trovato l'Asino di Machiavelli su Google Books, e l'ho messo su Internet Archive. Le poesie di Manzoni del Porta invece gnente, come gnente Rosmini. Wikisource, la biblioteca digitale libera, sta avanzando velocemente verso un modo di gestione dei libri migliore e più semplice, sia per quanto riguarda la la rilettura che per il caricamento. Tutte le comunità linguistiche sono molto importanti in Wikisource. Noi vogliamo proporvi la creazione di un Wikisource User Group, un gruppo libero e informale di volontari che faciliterà il dialogo e la cooperazione fra comunità, associazioni e organizzazioni, assieme all'attenzione all'innovazione tecnologica. Ogni aiuto è benvenuto. Questo ci darà un mezzo per condividere e migliorare gli strumenti nelle Wikisource locali.
